WE ARE OPEN – important message regarding Covid-19 and our commitment to our patients
Under Governor Wolf’s stay at home order, Physical Therapy is deemed an essential service, meaning we can continue to treat our patients. We will continue to treat post-surgical cases as well as others whose continued Physical Therapy is essential to addressing their pain and their recovery.
We understand the concerns about the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, and we want to reassure our patients that we are following CDC and OSHA guidelines, taking every precaution and any additional measures that are possible to ensure the safety and overall well-being of our patients, staff, and the community. The following is a list of precautions that we have put in place to ensure that our clinic remains safe for patients and staff members:
- Maintaining social distancing – we will schedule patients in time intervals that will allow us to minimize the number of people in the clinic at any given time. We use private rooms for treatment and coordinate to keep our patients separate from each other during their treatment session.
- We provide exam gloves to each patient at the front desk to wear throughout their treatment.
- Maintaining the highest sanitary levels via handwashing and the use of surface disinfectant before and after use of necessary equipment per CDC guidelines. We have hand sanitizer & hand washing stations located throughout the clinic to enable our patients sanitize their hands after using any piece of equipment.
- Requesting that any patient or staff member that feels sick to stay at home and to reschedule appointments as necessary.
Again, our staff’s and every patient’s health and safety will be our utmost priority while trying to continue in-clinic care.
Please be safe and be well!
